THE GUTTER REVAMPED: news and calls for submissions inside

Hello Gutter readers! It’s been a while since we’ve popped in your inbox. We’ve been taking time reimagining The Gutter, and we officially want to share with you: THE GUTTER, REVAMPED for 2025!

First: we are leaving monthly open submissions behind! Instead we’ll be sending a monthly comics resources newsletter, with links to events, workshops, articles, and other relevant info. This is free and will be sent to all our subscribers!

Don’t fear, we’re still publishing comics–now as quarterly digital anthologies. Our February digital anthology is now open for submissions, theme is BAD HABITS.

Deadline: January 15!

Contributors and paid subscribers will be able to download these quarterlies for free! All other readers can purchase and download them for $5.

And lastly, Riff Raff No. 2, the Gutter’s annual print anthology, is now open for submissions! Theme is CYCLES.

To submit, please fill out this form. We will be accepting comics until April 1st, with a September release date. We will be paying contributors $50 per comic. Please feel free to share!
